📋 Description

• Lead the enterprise Business Intelligence strategy, architecture, and roadmap focused on expanding self-service analytics. • Establish governance, certified datasets, reusable semantic models, and enterprise reporting standards. • Develop and execute an adoption strategy that empowers business users to access trusted data and insights independently. • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and industry best practices as the Business Intelligence thought leader. • Establish KPIs measuring self-service adoption, platform utilization, analytics maturity, and business value. • Architect and implement enterprise BI solutions using Power BI, Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects, and Databricks. • Design scalable semantic models, enterprise data models, and governed reporting solutions. • Define standards for architecture, security, governance, visualization, and performance optimization. • Serve as the BI subject matter expert for the Databricks Lakehouse platform. • Design and implement Row-Level Security and Object-Level Security. • Partner with Data Engineering to optimize ETL/ELT processes, curated datasets, and reporting models. • Lead modernization initiatives, including legacy platform migrations and adoption of cloud and AI technologies. • Establish Azure DevOps, Git, source control, automated deployment, and release-management standards. • Lead BI initiatives in an Agile environment using Jira and Scrum ceremonies. • Mentor and develop BI Analysts and Developers through technical leadership, architecture reviews, coaching, and knowledge sharing. • Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align analytics initiatives with strategic priorities. • Increase enterprise BI adoption and reduce ad hoc reporting requests. • Build and mentor a high-performing BI team while fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience. • 8+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, or Enterprise Reporting. • Minimum 3 years of technical leadership experience leading enterprise BI initiatives or teams. • Expert-level experience with Microsoft Power BI. • Expert-level experience with Tableau. • Expert-level experience with SAP BusinessObjects. • Expert-level experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, SQL Warehouses, Unity Catalog, and Lakehouse Architecture. • Expertise in SQL, enterprise data modeling, semantic modeling, and data warehousing. • Expertise in BI architecture, governance, and enterprise security, including RLS/OLS. • Expertise in ETL/ELT processes and cloud analytics platforms. • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, DevOps, and CI/CD pipeline implementation. • Experience with performance optimization for enterprise reporting solutions. • Proven success implementing enterprise self-service analytics programs that drive adoption and reduce manual reporting. • Demonstrated experience leading organizational change and championing a data-driven culture. • Experience establishing BI governance, Centers of Excellence, and enterprise best practices. • Demonstrated success mentoring BI Analysts and technical teams. • Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment using Jira and modern Scrum practices. • Exceptional communication, collaboration, strategic thinking, and executive presentation skills. • Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization. • Ability to complete a role-specific assessment. • Successful completion of applicable pre-employment screening, where permitted by law. • Employment eligibility verification through Form I-9 in compliance with federal law. • Expected to work on camera during meetings when working remotely, unless extenuating circumstances apply.
