📋 Description

• Lead and support site surveys, site preparation, and system installation activities • Execute and support VCS system cutovers from legacy voice platforms to next-generation systems • Perform decommissioning of legacy voice communication systems • Conduct independent system testing and validation to confirm: Power installation compliance, Cabling integrity and standards adherence, Equipment and site specification alignment • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of VCS and supporting telecom/IT infrastructure • Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve voice, network, and hardware faults • Support preventive maintenance and system health checks • Provide on-site customer support and end-user orientation/training as needed • Maintain accurate technical documentation, service reports, and cutover records • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, site security, and operational standards • Coordinate closely with engineers, program teams, and other field technicians during deployment activities

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, 12 years in lieu of degree • Hands-on experience with Voice Communication Switch (VCS) systems or similar mission-critical voice platforms • Experience supporting system cutovers, migrations, or technology refresh efforts • Knowledge of: Telecommunications infrastructure, VoIP technologies, Cabling standards and power validation, Networked voice systems • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause diagnostic skills • Experience using test equipment and diagnostic tools in field environments • Familiarity with operational environments where uptime and reliability are critical
