📋 Description

• Provide subject matter expertise on radar system integration, operations, and lifecycle sustainment • Support FAA surveillance programs through performance analysis, troubleshooting, and modernization planning • Observe, capture, and report technical data related to FAA radar system installation and modernization • Collaborate with FAA stakeholders, contractors, and engineering teams to align with mission objectives • Develop and submit concise technical and status reports throughout site survey, pre-installation, installation, testing, and acceptance phases • Notify higher Peraton authority of significant risks, issues, and opportunities and their potential schedule impacts • Oversee site and vendor technicians and maintain awareness of equipment installation schedules • Ensure compliance with FAA mandates • Monitor updated systems after installation and acceptance testing • Coordinate with site technicians and vendors on calibrations, alignments, and additional testing to optimize ATC systems • Support updated radar systems providing optimal detection capabilities and increased data accuracy

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance • 12 years of experience with BS/BA; 10 years with MS/MA; or 16 years with no degree • Significant hands-on technical work, such as maintenance on moderately complex systems including radars, radios, or networks • Ability to implement conflict resolution and deconfliction steps • Ability to operate independently under agile conditions with limited oversight and/or managerial control • Critical thinking and ability to follow processes and procedures • Ability to travel 75%; expected travel is 1 month on and 2 weeks remote rotation • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to assess large amounts of pertinent data and produce detailed technical reports under time limitations • Clear and effective communication with all parties • Familiarization with radar operations, ATC systems and operations, and/or Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems (preferred) • Expert use of Microsoft products and business applications (preferred)
