📋 Description

• Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications using App Engine Studio and/or traditional scoped application development • Build solutions beyond out-of-the-box functionality, including custom modules, data models, platform extensions, and Service Portal widgets • Clone, extend, and customize existing ServiceNow modules for customer-specific requirements • Develop workflows, automation, and integrations with external systems • Write, test, and debug ServiceNow scripts • Develop custom UI components • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with ServiceNow best practices • Gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Research and adapt ServiceNow platform capabilities as needed • Collaborate with developers and team members in an Agile/DevSecOps environment • Work independently on development tasks and complete assigned work items • Maintain and apply knowledge of ServiceNow data structures • Configure and utilize MID Server for integrations and data movement • Implement RBAC and platform security configurations • Adhere to security and compliance requirements • Stand up and configure new instances for applications or migrations • Operate with ownership and autonomy in a fully remote environment • Proactively progress work and seek additional tasks • Maintain consistent communication and availability during the business day

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD; or 9 years with HS diploma • Experience developing workflows, automation, and integrations with external systems, including REST/SOAP APIs and third-party platforms • Experience writing, testing, and debugging ServiceNow scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and Fix Scripts • Experience developing custom UI components, including UI Pages, UI Actions, and Service Portal elements • Experience customizing a Service Portal • Experience with custom ServiceNow application development using App Engine Studio and/or traditional scoped application development • Experience with custom modules, data models, platform extensions, and Service Portal widgets • Experience with ServiceNow data structures, including tables, dictionary, relationships, and CMDB • Experience configuring and utilizing MID Server for integrations and data movement • Experience implementing role-based access controls and platform security configurations • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements such as FedRAMP, DoD, and STIG • Ability to stand up and configure a new ServiceNow instance or support application migration • Experience tracing data points to respective tables in a domain-separated environment • Clearance not required to start, but Secret clearance will be required in the future
