📋 Description

• Provide leadership for the company’s global IT Procurement category • Own the contracting and renewal process of IT agreements valued at more than $100M • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT and business owners to challenge licensure needs, consolidate applications, and drive cost reductions • Negotiate agreements and ensure they are thoroughly benchmarked • Collaborate with legal, IT, and business stakeholders to meet contracting guidelines and manage business risks • Lead IT Steerco Process governance • Present final negotiated agreements to Executive Leadership Team approvers • Identify redundant applications, streamline software portfolios, and drive business process changes that reduce license counts and total cost of ownership • Develop proactive renewal strategies and leverage renewal timelines to maximize negotiation leverage

🎯 Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in a procurement or buying role • 10+ years of experience supporting IT and technology categories • Experience supporting procurement categories on a global scale • Experience managing procurement activities for fleet or a closely related commodity • Bachelors Degree • Strong communications & presentation skills • Experience working in SAP or a similar ERP system • Skills with MS Office • Familiarity with eSourcing and Procure 2 Pay tools • Proven experience leading IT procurement initiatives, with a strong focus on software and SaaS categories, including application rationalization and license optimization • Demonstrated ability to partner with business stakeholders, IT, finance, and legal teams • Skilled in developing proactive renewal strategies, including early engagement with stakeholders and risk mitigation planning • Track record of negotiating complex software agreements and securing favorable terms • Deep understanding of software licensing models, contract structures, and benchmarking practices • Experience in a consulting environment is highly desirable
