📋 Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for consented patients from enrollment through therapy initiation and continuation • Conduct patient needs assessments covering coverage, affordability, and logistical access barriers • Coordinate care among healthcare providers, caregivers, and sites of care • Maintain accountability for end-to-end patient progression and resolve barriers proactively • Act as a field-based expert on reimbursement, coverage pathways, and payer policy affecting Pfizer therapies • Guide healthcare providers on prior authorization, step edits, coding, and payer-specific requirements • Resolve reimbursement challenges through escalation and coordination • Deliver compliant education on reimbursement processes, coverage pathways, hub services, enrollment, and financial assistance programs • Develop and execute account-level access strategies • Identify systemic barriers and optimize workflows to reduce therapy-initiation delays • Engage payer organizations to clarify coverage policies and resolve access challenges • Facilitate communication among HCP offices, payers, and patient support programs • Provide internal stakeholders with insights on payer trends, reimbursement challenges, and access barriers • Translate field insights into cross-functional strategic recommendations • Collaborate with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, and Patient Solutions teams • Participate in account planning and coordinated patient-centric access strategies • Regularly travel by air and to HCP offices; approximately 30% travel with overnight travel required • Operate a Pfizer company car

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of pharmaceutical or related experience in customer-facing roles/functions; 9 years with a Master’s, BSN, or RPh • 1+ year in an Access and Reimbursement support role • Minimum 3–5 years of Specialty Pharma experience • Reimbursement and Access experience is required • Experience in the Endocrinology or Immunoglobulin sector is preferred • Strong understanding of reimbursement, government payment systems, provider/carrier networks, co-pay assistance programs, and specialty policy dynamics in the rare disease community • Exceptional communication and presentation skills • Strategic planning and successful plan implementation experience • Demonstrated leadership and ability to collaborate across internal boundaries and with multiple stakeholders • Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and adhere to strict company compliance guidelines and procedures • Proven track record collaborating with diverse customers, clients, and stakeholders • Training in and experience in responsible business communication, written and spoken • Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record compliant with company standards • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired-driving citation within the past 7 years disqualifies hiring • Must live within the geography or within 25 miles of territory boundaries • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
