📋 Description

• Inform customer decision-making and improve population health through real-world data analytics, pharmacoeconomic analyses, outcomes evaluations, and medical presentations • Educate customers on the clinical and economic impact of Pfizer medicines and products • Plan and execute independent Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within a territory • Develop and execute medical account plans while representing Medical Affairs and sharing customer insights • Respond to medical and scientific questions regarding Pfizer products and disease states • Present to payers, managed care organizations, formulary decision makers, and regional medical advisory boards • Facilitate communication between regional/national healthcare organizations and headquarters Medical Affairs • Facilitate Pfizer-sponsored collaborative, quality-improvement, and non-interventional research projects • Provide objective medical information through pharmacoeconomic models, outcomes tools, educational programs, HOPEs, studies, and collaborations • Develop and implement Real-World Evidence-based outcomes tools to improve patient care and address population health management • Provide medical guidance for Health Information Technology initiatives and assess organizational capabilities and feasibility • Analyze clinical healthcare information-system workflows to reduce care gaps and improve efficiencies and population health • Develop clinical content and innovative information-technology tools and resources • Provide expertise on e-data collection and planning for Field Medical colleagues • Collaborate cross-functionally to design and deploy HIT solutions aligned with Pfizer Medical goals • Support HIT/clinical informatics resources for new product and indication launches • Maintain and utilize Clinical Informatics capabilities for external collaborations • Create internal and external tools, resources, and educational materials • Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs with clinical and professional associations • Enhance customer recognition through collaborative projects, publications, and healthcare awards • Review scientific literature, competitive developments, and attend assigned conferences • Collaborate with Pfizer colleagues to understand customer outcomes and data-analysis needs • Manage multiple field-based projects and prioritize implementation • Educate healthcare organizations on patient care gaps and guideline-based care • Provide territory/customer leadership, serve on committees, and support mentorship and onboarding • Maintain professional licensure and complete required training

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science required • 10+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree; 8+ years with a master’s degree; 6+ years with a terminal doctorate degree • Experience in clinical, formulary, and/or other management; managed care, pharmaceutical industry, and/or quality improvement; or data analytics and/or HEOR activities • Strong methodological skills in study design, data analysis, and interpretation in health services research • Significant experience interacting with payers and other organized customers • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills, including handling multiple customer demands and conflict constructively • Diverse leadership experience and ability to influence and collaborate with peers • Strong analytic, comprehension, and scientific communication skills • Ability to prioritize multiple demands and employ situational leadership • Ability to travel, including overnight travel • Ability to operate a Pfizer company car with a valid US Driver’s License • Must be within a 2-hour drive of a major airport • Flexibility to travel 40–50% of the time • Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record; any DUI/DWI or impaired-driving citation within the past 7 years disqualifies hiring • Ability to work occasional weekends • Must reside within the New England region or be willing to relocate; preferred locations include Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Upstate New York • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is unavailable
