• Set the national patient engagement strategy across ATTR and SCD • Lead a national field team of eight Community Navigators, including seven direct reports and one secondment floater • Liaise with community-based advocacy and patient groups on Pfizer programs, resources, and services • Develop and own an integrated dual-therapeutic-area operating model • Partner with brand and marketing leadership teams to inform brand and customer strategies • Define, implement, and govern unified KPIs; report performance to senior Patient Solutions and Commercial leadership • Champion health equity in engagement strategy • Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, talent development, succession planning, and performance management • Deploy the floater Community Navigator across territories and therapeutic areas • Work with training teams to develop therapeutic-area-specific training • Conduct field ride-alongs in Community Navigator territories • Manage budgets for patient programs and Community Navigator operations • Manage customer-facing elements and external funding requests with cross-functional partners • Oversee implementation of above-brand Community Navigator resources • Coordinate local patient programs and deliver patient-resource overviews at Pfizer-sponsored events • Build partnerships with advocacy groups, Patient Advocacy Groups, patient advocates, Community Partners, and external stakeholders • Attend and present at industry conferences and congresses representing Pfizer • Collaborate with brand, regional, global, and local medical affairs, Planning & Innovation, Legal, and Compliance teams • Incorporate patient and community insights into educational materials and patient support services • Monitor business trends and community perception and implement processes to improve performance and patient engagement • Ensure patient engagement activities meet Pfizer’s standards of conduct
• Bachelor’s degree required • 10+ years of experience in advocacy, pharmaceutical, medical sales, or account management • Experience with ATTR or/and SCD • Experience leading field-based teams • Experience working with Community-Based Organizations and/or Patient Advocacy Groups • Experience working with Health Systems and navigating cross-functional working relationships • Experience managing multiple products, brands, or therapeutic areas simultaneously, including prioritization and resource allocation • Demonstrated understanding of the US health care system • Deep understanding of the US health care environment and payer/reimbursement space • Track record developing, implementing, and executing strategies that drive business performance and measurable KPI outcomes • Strong strategic, analytical, and business acumen skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines across concurrent workstreams • Strong strategic thinking and pragmatic recommendation skills • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Strong communication skills • Track record leading initiatives that meet or exceed organizational performance targets • Ability to provide direction, coach, and engage team members through change and organizational growth • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Position requires permanent work authorization in the United States • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future • Preferred: MBA or advanced degree • Preferred: supervisory/people management experience leading teams through significant change, expansion, or restructuring • Preferred: experience leading large field-based teams (~5+ direct reports) • Preferred: understanding of Cardiac Rare Disease/ATTR and/or Hematology/Sickle Cell Disease • Preferred: experience engaging underserved patient communities and advancing health equity initiatives • Preferred: experience defining KPIs and performance measurement frameworks for field-based teams
