📋 Description

• Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within the Southeast Territory (FL / PR) • Maintain knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas, disease states, and Pfizer medicines • Provide therapeutic area and product information to internal and external stakeholders • Serve as a resource for Medical Information and customer insights • Deliver approved medical and scientific education to healthcare professionals • Identify and engage priority customer segments • Respond to unsolicited medical requests from healthcare professionals with truthful, accurate, scientifically supported information • Lead advisory boards with manager oversight and vendor collaboration as needed • Field inbound healthcare professional queries through established triage processes • Identify potential sites and support Pfizer-sponsored clinical trials, including sites serving under-represented patient populations • Provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research process • Cultivate research and therapeutic-area expertise through congress data and disease-state literature • Provide asset leadership • Explain study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation to customers • Lead the territory through strategic planning, prioritization, and accountability for medical impact • Communicate with local Patient Advocacy Groups in collaboration with Corporate Affairs and HQ Medical Affairs • Deliver field insights on patient organizations, patient needs, treatment patterns, standards of care, and unmet data needs • Serve on Medical, therapeutic-area, and asset cross-functional committees • Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs with clinical and professional associations and societies • Mentor onboarding partners, advisory board leads, and study leads • Participate in special projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science required • PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal doctoral degree highly preferred • Relevant experience required: PharmD/PhD with 6 years of experience, MBA/MSc with 8 years of experience, BA/BSc with 10 years of experience • Subject matter expert recognized across internal and external stakeholders • Breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and conflict-management skills • Ability to manage significant project volume in a remote environment, prioritize, implement successfully, and exercise excellent judgment • Ability to work within a matrixed, multidisciplinary team • Ability to lead and manage change in an evolving healthcare environment • Change agility and adaptability to organizational change • Problem-solving and enterprise-wide networking skills • Clinical and technical skills • Ability to rapidly adopt and use digital technology and resources with medical customers and record medical interactions • Ability to operate a Pfizer company car and regularly fly on airplanes • Flexibility to travel 60–80% of the time • Reasonable proximity to an airline hub city • Ability to work weekends • Currently reside in the FL / PR territory • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is unavailable
