📋 Description

• Provide therapeutic area and product expertise for vaccines across external medical stakeholders and initiatives in the assigned Northern Florida territory • Plan and execute independent Medical strategy and engagement with external medical stakeholders • Maintain knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas, disease states, and Pfizer medicines • Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and external medical stakeholder insights • Contribute to Medical educational content strategy and execute aligned Field Medical tactics • Collaborate with headquarters Medical colleagues, Medical Information, and Field Medical colleagues • Deliver live and virtual presentations, written communications, and telephone or virtual conversations • Educate stakeholders on disease states, guideline-based care, clinical and economic impact, real-world data, pharmacoeconomic analyses, outcomes evaluations, and medical presentations • Execute projects, collaborations, patient care projects, and non-interventional studies compliantly • Serve as Medical lead for assigned stakeholders, develop and execute Medical account plans, and identify collaboration opportunities • Engage healthcare organizations, advocacy groups, coalitions, and medical/healthcare associations • Collaborate with internal Pfizer colleagues and HEOR on outcomes and data analysis needs • Provide scientifically supported information in response to unsolicited medical requests • Lead advisory boards with manager oversight • Field inbound queries through established triage processes • Support identification of clinical trial sites and under-represented patient populations • Provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research process • Cultivate research and therapeutic area expertise, including congress data and disease-state literature • Provide asset leadership and communicate study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation • Lead the territory and communicate with local Patient Advocacy Groups • Serve on Medical, therapeutic-area, and asset cross-functional committees • Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs with clinical/professional associations and societies • Mentor onboarding partners, advisory board leads, and study leads • Participate in special projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• MD or DO Degree required • 4+ years of relevant experience required • Subject matter expertise in vaccines • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflict constructively • Ability to manage significant project volume in a remote environment, prioritize, implement successfully, and exercise excellent judgment • Ability to work within a matrixed, multidisciplinary team • Change agility and adaptability to organizational change • Clinical and technical skills • Ability to rapidly adopt and utilize new digital technology and record medical interactions • Familiarity with internal/external SOPs, rules, and regulations regarding Pfizer/external medical stakeholder interactions preferred • Previous Field Medical experience preferred • Experience with health information technology used in the U.S. preferred • Experience with optimization/customization of EHR platforms and developing EHR clinical solutions preferred • Understanding of the U.S. healthcare business environment and emerging healthcare trends preferred • Ability to regularly fly and travel 40–50% of the time • Valid U.S. driver's license and driving record compliant with company standards • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
