📋 Description

• Conduct workflow mapping and current-state analysis for clinical and operational workflows impacted by the Federal EHR • Support analysis, design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide healthcare processes and application systems • Provide redesign support and implementation assistance during Go-Live and PGL Operations • Conduct studies supporting system redesign, business process reengineering, improvement, and management • Develop implementation plans and support implementation and sustainment of improvements • Standardize and optimize workflows across sites • Leverage VHA business architecture to establish workflow harmony and reduce complexity • Support clinical informatics issue triage and resolution for workflow, configuration, and interoperability issues related to Oracle Health • Refresh guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures as workflows, systems, and interfaces evolve • Document process artifacts and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders • Translate clinician and staff feedback into actionable workflow improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional experience • Experience in business process reengineering, process improvement, and process management • Experience analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-wide processes and application systems • Experience with workflow mapping and current-state/future-state analysis • Experience developing implementation plans and sustaining process improvements • Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and facilitation skills • Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship • Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Low/NACI background investigation • Experience with health system or healthcare processes strongly preferred • Experience supporting Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium workflow design or optimization • Lean Six Sigma certification or comparable process improvement credential • Experience supporting VHA or a comparable federal health informatics organization
