📋 Description

• Lead development and execution of the Advanced Technology & Innovation roadmap • Align innovation initiatives with business and clinical priorities • Serve as a senior technical advisor on innovation strategy and future technology investments • Identify, evaluate, and advance emerging technologies for competitive differentiation • Drive innovation from concept and feasibility through product development and commercialization • Provide technical leadership for strategic technology platforms and product initiatives • Contribute to prototyping, algorithm development, system design, and transition of technologies into regulated medical devices • Build, lead, and mentor a multidisciplinary Advanced Technology team • Recruit and develop engineering and scientific talent and leverage global capabilities and external partnerships • Partner with Intellectual Property teams on invention disclosures and patent development • Contribute to technology landscape assessments informing innovation and investment strategies • Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Clinical, and Business leaders to develop medical imaging solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience developing innovative medical device and/or medical imaging technologies • Demonstrated success translating research and innovation into commercial products • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams • Deep expertise in one or more of AI/Machine Learning, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Optics, Advanced Algorithms, and Computational Modeling • PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Optical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field; a Master’s degree with significant relevant industry experience will also be considered • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to successfully perform the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation • US work authorization required • Must not require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa now or in the future
