📋 Description

• Lead global scientific communication strategy aligned with organizational objectives, product strategy, and industry standards • Develop and refine manuscripts, abstracts, conference presentations, clinical study reports, briefing documents, regulatory dossiers, and other compliant scientific and regulatory content • Oversee submission, review, approval, and publication workflows • Maintain SOPs for evidence capture, device and system performance, safety, and data integrity • Implement best practices to improve communication quality, efficiency, timeliness, and impact • Partner with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, external authors, investigators, speakers, and scientific organizations • Align messaging and support collaborative research • Manage strategic relationships and deliver scientific training • Coach junior team members and advance team performance • Strengthen the organization’s scientific credibility, visibility, and influence through accurate, clear, ethical, and timely communications • Use publication and regulatory document templates, manuscript and presentation software, literature and evidence-management resources, submission and review workflows, SOP repositories, project-tracking tools, and virtual collaboration platforms to develop, approve, track, and disseminate scientific materials • Travel up to 25%

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of experience with a master’s degree in Medical or Clinical Affairs within the medical device or biotech industry, or an equivalent field • Experience with similar therapeutic area medical device products strongly preferred • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in medical science, Nursing, or an equivalent field • MD or PhD in Nursing, Medical Science, or an equivalent discipline strongly preferred • No specific certification is required or preferred • Commercial and business acumen • Clinical and Medical Affairs expertise • Knowledge of regulatory requirements • Stakeholder management • Publication planning and execution • Technical presentations • Communications development • Scientific literature reviews • Content authoring tools • Ability to perform minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation • 5–7 years of Medical or Clinical Affairs experience in the medical device or biotech industry preferred • Ability to communicate technical and scientific information effectively while influencing cross-functional stakeholders • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% • US work authorization required; candidates requiring current or future visa sponsorship will not be considered • Must reside in or within commuting distance to posted locations
