📋 Description

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and product teams to define, design, create, and maintain core administrator documentation • Collaborate with a globally distributed team and stakeholders across various time zones • Deliver clear, concise, user-friendly documentation for identity and access management administrators • Investigate, research, and learn Ping Identity products and their underlying standards • Translate complex authorization concepts into clear documentation for administrators • Work with AsciiDoc in a Docs-as-Code authoring and publishing environment using IntelliJ IDE and Git/GitHub • Follow the software development lifecycle to anticipate and ascertain documentation needs

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4+ years of technical writing experience • Proven experience documenting complex software; IAM or security products strongly preferred • Experience creating Markdown content • Experience managing multiple tickets simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards • Experience working with AI tools such as Gemini, Glean, and Claude Code • Ability to quickly learn evolving features and complex software in early-stage development environments • Prior experience or exposure to software development • Experience using GitHub and repositories • Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar project management platforms • Strong understanding of technical administrators’ needs and workflows • Advantageous: experience with docs-as-code and AsciiDoc • Advantageous: experience writing AI agent skill files • Advantageous: experience building, installing, configuring, and debugging client and server software • Advantageous: experience with Ping Identity or competing products • Advantageous: experience writing for technical audiences, including system administrators and configuration managers
