The group develops methods to enable communication‑efficient model and pipeline parallelism, unextractable collaborative models, and high‑compression context parallelism so community‑trained, community‑owned frontier models can scale over low‑bandwidth, internet‑connected devices. Their work targets practical systems and algorithms that make decentralized training competitive with centralized training while enabling new ownership and economic models.

📋 Description

• Own event logistics end to end for team offsites, conference presence, Tech Talks, dinners, and hosted CEO meetings • Drive post-event follow-through by capturing details, summaries, and learnings in one source of truth • Systemise the CEO’s travel and scheduling with repeatable, agent-first systems • Provide broad operational support, including executing onboarding flows, polishing documents and communications, and establishing the San Francisco office presence • Work directly with the CEO and Chief of Staff • Coordinate events such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, and Tech Talks

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of flawless execution and reliable follow-through • Demonstrated experience running events end to end, including venues, logistics, budgets, vendors, and on-the-day delivery • Systems mindset focused on building repeatable, self-running processes • Comfort rotating across functions in a small, fast-moving team • Strong written communication and documentation skills • High discretion when working with founders and executives • Professional-level English proficiency, written and spoken • Comfort working across time zones with a diverse, distributed team • Nice to have: experience coordinating conference presence or side events in tech, AI/ML, research, or crypto communities • Nice to have: hands-on use of AI tools and agents to automate workflows • Nice to have: experience in an early-stage startup during rapid growth or fundraising
