📋 Description

• Own end-to-end configuration, health, security posture, and roadmap for one or more core IT platforms • Handle complex escalations across Mac, Windows, and Linux devices and SaaS applications • Improve onboarding, offboarding, device lifecycle, and access-provisioning workflows with scalability in mind • Operate Posit's enterprise AI platform and supporting integrations, including SSO/SCIM health, license management, MDM deployment, and complex-issue support • Mentor IT Engineers through ticket pairing, pull-request reviews, and improved technical practices • Maintain SaaS configurations, endpoint controls, access controls, and patch management for security and compliance • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and playbooks • Lead scheduled audits of IT-controlled systems and coordinate remediation • Advance IT GitOps practices through version-controlled code, pull requests, peer review, and coaching • Help define IT engineering standards, IaC patterns, code-review expectations, and exception processes • Support procurement, vendor evaluation, and technical assessments for new tools • Enforce information-security and safety procedures • Track hardware/software assets and identify capacity and spending trends • Respond to internal and external audit requests with GRC and Security • Support approved MCP integrations and AI workflows, including identity, access, deployment, and monitoring • Recommend and implement automated IT process improvements • Build stakeholder relationships, review systems and processes, resolve escalations, assume platform ownership, lead operational improvements, and support audits and compliance activities

🎯 Requirements

• Significant progressive IT experience, including meaningful experience as a systems administrator or engineer in a SaaS-first or distributed environment • Strong problem investigation, deductive reasoning, escalation, and system redesign abilities • Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences and work with security, engineering, and legal stakeholders • Deep knowledge of identity providers, MDM platforms, productivity suites, and endpoint security tooling • Proficiency with Okta, Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Fleet, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom • High proficiency with macOS, Linux, and Windows • Hands-on experience administering mobile device management platforms at scale • Strong knowledge of SAML, OIDC, SCIM, MFA/SSO architectures, and common identity threats • Experience owning cross-functional projects from planning through delivery in a fast-paced environment • Experience administering multiple SaaS applications at scale • Hands-on IT GitOps experience, including version control, pull request workflows, and Infrastructure-as-Code with Pulumi or Terraform, or ability to develop these skills quickly through scripting/automation experience • Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms such as Claude Enterprise and safe operation of SSO, SCIM, MDM, and integration platforms • AWS infrastructure administration experience is a plus, including compute, networking, IAM, backups, and monitoring
