📋 Description

• Research and explain use cases, technical concepts, and how systems work • Write use case guides, tutorials, technical explainers, and engineering posts that help people and agents use PostHog better • Research technical details, engineering processes, and complex concepts deeply enough for builders to learn • Determine content topics based on company releases, priorities, and interesting subjects • Select the appropriate format, including engineering blogs, SEO explainers, and X threads • Collaborate with engineers and marketers to explain what was built, why it matters, and its relevance to builders • Edit engineers' blog posts when needed • Avoid generic quota-driven SEO content, primarily writing social posts, newsletters, ads, video scripts, or marketing copy, and publishing low-quality AI-generated content

🎯 Requirements

• Strong writing ability; able to make complicated technical subjects clear, useful, and enjoyable to read • Portfolio demonstrating technical explainers, engineering posts, tutorials, or similar content for a developer audience • Technical curiosity and ability to understand and accurately explain concepts such as logs, traces, data warehouses, APIs, LLMs, and agents • Ability to distinguish genuinely educational content from keyword-driven content • Uses AI to build things, improve workflows, and help write content • Ability to work independently, decide what is worth writing, develop a point of view, and ship work • Nice to have: experience at a developer tools or B2B SaaS company • Nice to have: side projects or small tools • Nice to have: existing PostHog experience
