📋 Description

• Participate in the content review process, editing project content for spelling, grammar, consistency, tone, creative brief fulfillment, client and AMA style, and accurate referencing • Participate in the development phase to initiate consistency in content and presentation outlines • Collaborate with authors, account management, clinical writers, production, and other staff on content revisions and project completion • Represent the department at internal startup and status meetings • Ensure materials align with each client’s MLR submission process and support MLR activities • Develop and maintain editorial style guides for interdepartmental use • Mentor and train department staff members and other partners as needed • Assist with medical/legal/regulatory submission preparation • Write and craft internal or corporate materials as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or a similar field • 5+ years of editing experience in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry • Thorough knowledge of AMA 11th edition style • Experience editing both print and digital materials and routing electronic files • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite • Familiarity with editing in Adobe Acrobat Professional • Proven editorial experience in an agency environment • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy • Preferred: 3+ years’ experience in advertising, pharmaceutical marketing, medical communications, and/or medical education • Preferred: Familiarity with Veeva, Zinc, or MLR submission systems • Preferred: Knowledge of FDA requirements for pharmaceutical advertising
