📋 Description

• Own the internal data platform end to end, including Snowflake architecture, sizing, cost, dbt transformations, and Dagster orchestration standards • Own ingestion tooling including Fivetran, Sling, dlt, and AWS DMS • Own reverse ETL using Hightouch and Census • Own warehouse access controls and security • Design systems to reduce cross-team dependencies and ingestion debt, with a sound change-data-capture approach • Own platform reliability, Dagster alerting, data quality, and cost • Address deferred data backlog, including one-off ingestion, enablement, and growth data work • Partner with engineering on SLA-carrying pipelines such as billing and consumption pricing • Use Dagster daily and feed learnings back to the product team • Report to the Head of Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Staff-level data platform experience; able to set architecture across orgs and work through stakeholders independently • Deep production experience with dbt and a modern cloud warehouse • Experience with a modern orchestrator; experience with Dagster is a plus • Hands-on experience with managed ingestion and reverse ETL tooling • Self-directed and able to turn ambiguous business asks into scoped, prioritized work • Comfortable working in the open on a public codebase • Must be authorized to work in the United States of America • Visa sponsorship requirements must be disclosed
