📋 Description

• Collaborate within Advisory consulting teams to deliver performance improvement for healthcare systems • Perform billable client work and maintain utilization targets • Participate in engagement teams to determine client needs, analyze and interpret data, evaluate solutions, develop presentations, and implement improvements • Identify issues, form hypotheses, plan and participate in interviews, conduct analyses, and synthesize conclusions into insights and recommendations • Prepare cohesive presentations and deliverables for various audiences • Build working relationships with Premier and client teams • Obtain data, execute or coordinate analyses, initiate interpretations and conclusions, and prepare verbal and graphic presentations • Generate billing revenue by conducting analyses, writing reports, and assisting clients with implementing changes • Define detailed business requirements through client interviews and document wants and needs • Listen for market opportunities and communicate potential leads to managers • Participate in Advisory Services practice development activities • Learn Premier-based technologies and services • Complete required annual training • Contribute to internal activities and approved educational opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• 0 or more years of applicable experience • High School Diploma or GED (Required) • Awareness of medical device, pharmaceutical, and healthcare market trends and key hospital competitors’ activities • Understanding of client and healthcare industry analytics, including “what if” scenario planning, financial scenarios (cost and reimbursement), and combining multiple data sets • Understanding of risk management practices; ability to identify, communicate, and respond to potential risks and escalate issues to a manager • Ability to gather and research data using common tools and analytical methods • Advanced Excel skills required • Statistical tools such as R, Python, SAS, or Matlab preferred • Power BI preferred • Tableau and Business Intelligence knowledge • Experience in healthcare, business, or finance analytics • Demonstrated interest in healthcare finance, operations, and supply chain • Capability to act in a self-directed role, prioritize workload, and demonstrate value • Ability to adapt and change priorities quickly and meet deadlines • Attention to detail • Ability to operate computer programs and software • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and electronically • Ability to work collaboratively in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions • Ability to make independent decisions • Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods • Sedentary physical work; occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force • Travel 81–100% within the US
