📋 Description

• Develop, document, and execute category strategies for transportation, fleet, courier, and related logistics services • Lead complex sourcing initiatives from strategy through market assessment, competitive solicitation, supplier evaluation, contracting, and implementation • Identify market innovation, emerging capabilities, suppliers, and value-creating solutions • Develop strategies and lead contract and pricing negotiations • Secure favorable terms and conditions while managing risk and compliance • Analyze procurement spend and identify, implement, and track cost, service, efficiency, financial, risk, and supply-continuity improvements • Track measurable value through cost savings, cost avoidance, and performance improvements • Analyze spend, cost drivers, market conditions, supplier capabilities, and operational requirements • Partner with Finance, Legal, Risk, Market Intelligence, Analytics, and subject-matter experts to develop business cases and support sourcing decisions • Identify and evaluate suppliers and establish performance expectations • Define KPIs, service levels, and governance requirements • Monitor supplier performance, address escalated issues, manage supplier risk, and drive corrective action and continuous improvement • Partner with internal clients and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, develop strategies, facilitate alignment, and support implementation • Maintain category, sourcing, supplier, and project documentation • Provide reporting on strategies, sourcing activities, supplier performance, risks, financial impact, and key performance measures • Report to the Director of Supply Management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience required • Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required • Experience managing third-party spend within a large organization preferred • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Experience with ERP, procurement, sourcing, contract management, and analytics platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Coupa, Power BI, Business Objects, or similar systems • Advanced analytical, business, and financial acumen • Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills • Ability to develop business cases, presentations, and stakeholder communications • Solid leadership, collaboration, influence, teamwork, and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives and operate independently • Professional certification such as C.P.M., CPSM, CIRM, or CPIM preferred • Master’s degree preferred
