📋 Description

• Serve as the senior finance partner to sales leadership within an assigned territory • Present financial results, risks, and recommendations to senior and executive audiences • Partner with accounting and operations to resolve issues affecting the territory's P&L • Provide finance approvals supporting ongoing operations and financial controls • Own annual planning and quarterly and monthly forecast updates • Reconcile backlog and assess inventory position to identify risk and inform forecasts and budgets • Build and maintain historical and predictive driver-based financial models • Track performance against projections and adjust plans as the territory evolves • Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L variance analysis against budget and forecast • Report on operational metrics and KPIs, surfacing performance trends • Own executive and ad hoc reporting and presentation materials • Build summary charts, tables, and dashboards • Champion Power BI dashboards and modern self-service reporting tools • Model effective use of AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis and improve forecast accuracy • Develop scalable financial tools, analyses, and metrics • Standardize KPI frameworks and financial data definitions • Mentor and develop analysts in technical skills, business acumen, and executive communication • Review analyst deliverables for accuracy and clarity • Foster curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement • Partner with FP&A leadership on resource planning and team development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field • 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or commercial finance • Experience reviewing or mentoring junior team members' work • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills, including VLOOKUP, IFS, pivot tables, and charts • Experience building historical or predictive financial models with dynamic inputs • Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar BI tools • Working knowledge of AI-assisted tools such as Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort presenting to executive audiences • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills • Problem-solving, results-oriented mindset, high bias for action, ownership, and accountability • Ability to self-manage and operate independently to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment • Preferred: CPA, CMA, CFA, or MBA • Preferred: Formal management or mentoring experience • Preferred: Experience in technology, managed services, or professional services industries • Preferred: OneStream, Adaptive, or Hyperion experience • Preferred: D365, SAP, Oracle, or Great Plains experience • Preferred: SQL or Power Query proficiency • Preferred: Revenue recognition principles and services or product margin economics experience
