📋 Description

• Investigate design challenges, explore multiple approaches, evaluate tradeoffs, and reach well-reasoned design decisions • Articulate design decisions, alternatives considered, and intentional exclusions • Translate technically complex product concepts into intuitive experiences • Design for admin and end-user personas with different mental models, workflows, and risk tolerances • Reduce cognitive load without reducing capability • Own and evolve a design system and component library across Windows, Mac, web, and mobile • Apply platform-specific design standards while maintaining a unified PreVeil identity • Drive the full design lifecycle from discovery and user research through wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity design, and developer-ready handoff • Produce clear, complete specifications for engineering • Use AI tools to accelerate iteration and explore ideas • Conduct and synthesize user research • Bring evidence of user needs into design decisions and identify behavioral patterns • Partner with Product and Engineering, communicate clearly, show work early, and iterate from feedback • Deliver high-quality designs, meet commitments, and surface issues proactively

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating strong design judgment and enterprise UX depth • Experience designing enterprise software, ideally on collaboration or productivity software • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex systems into clear, usable experiences • Deep knowledge of cross-platform design standards: Windows, Mac, web, and mobile • Experience owning and scaling design systems and component libraries • Experience designing for different personas, including admins and end-users • Fluency in Figma • Active use of AI tools to accelerate and sharpen design work • Comfort operating independently, with ambiguity and in fast-paced environments, with a strong bias for action • Clear, compelling communication skills • Collaborative, reliable, and low-ego working style • Front-end literacy in HTML, CSS, and React is nice to have • Experience in fast-paced startup or growth-stage environments is nice to have • Strong initiative and bias for action is nice to have • Background designing for technically sophisticated or security-conscious user bases is nice to have
