📋 Description

• Draft and revise litigation materials including motions, complaints, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and briefs • Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and similar research platforms • Review, proofread, and edit legal documents for clarity, accuracy, and compliance • Ensure filings comply with jurisdiction-specific court rules and formatting requirements • Collaborate with attorneys to support litigation strategy and case development • Manage multiple writing assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Translate complex legal concepts into concise, persuasive written materials

🎯 Requirements

• JD degree or equivalent legal qualification preferred • 2–4 years of legal writing, litigation support, or related experience • Strong legal research and analytical writing skills • Familiarity with litigation procedures and legal terminology • Experience with Bluebook citation standards • Knowledge of personal injury litigation in Maryland, Virginia, and/or Washington, DC preferred • Experience with SmartAdvocate or similar case management software preferred • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
