📋 Description

• Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain access control systems, electronic key systems, locking devices, visitor management systems, IP video surveillance, and related hardware • Independently install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic access control systems, door hardware, readers, low-voltage wiring, and components • Travel daily to job sites and client locations across states for installations, maintenance, and service work • Keep tools, equipment, and materials stocked and organized for each job site • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair video surveillance systems • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair alarm systems • Pull, route, and terminate cables • Test and verify systems and devices according to manufacturer specifications • Collaborate with Project Managers and team members on project updates • Coordinate with Engineering to program alarm, access, and IP video surveillance systems • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance • Maintain installation quality and standards • Organize and manage parts and tools • Maintain accurate departmental daily records • Follow safety best practices • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Vocational/technical/business school background strongly preferred • Comfortable with frequent travel, including overnight stays away from home as required by project needs • Able to travel consistently for extended periods while working at various job sites • Must be within a 60-mile radius of an airport for travel more than a day's drive away • Clean driving record and no DUIs in the past five years • Minimum of one year of experience in the security field preferred • 1-2 years of experience with low-voltage cabling • Familiarity with various hand and power tools • Familiarity with MS Office • Valid driver's license • Good judgment • Strong organizational skills • Exceptional customer service skills • Must demonstrate the company's Core Values • Must pass drug and physical screenings and background requirements • Must be available to work variable hours and willing to travel • Individuals with felony or misdemeanor convictions may not be hired • Must not have alcohol- or drug-related convictions or suspensions within the past three years
