📋 Description

• Analyze, mine, and document complex healthcare claims and authorizations datasets to identify patterns and trends • Use scripting, data blending, data visualization, and statistical programming languages to translate business problems into strategies and solutions • Partner with stakeholders to understand needs, collect and acquire data, and organize data for availability • Interpret results and present data as a compelling story that answers stakeholder questions and drives decisions • Identify and solve problems through data analytics and statistical modeling • Perform ad hoc analyses of varying complexity and duration • Provide status reports detailing project progress and time allocation by task • Coordinate and mentor analytics efforts by in-house staff or external consultants • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience • High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED required • 2 years of work experience in healthcare analytics • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Effective communication skills; able to translate and explain technical data and insights to non-technical audiences • Knowledge of pharmacy benefit structures, drug pricing, and claims processing • Familiarity with drug coding systems (NDC) and medical coding (ICD, CPT, HCPCS) • Experience in a PBM, health plan, or payer organization preferred • Experience with transact-SQL (MS SQL or Oracle) preferred • Experience with SAS, GCP, Python, and/or other data mining tools preferred • Experience working with large datasets, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools preferred • First Databank or Medi-Span experience preferred • Must comply with security responsibilities, applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, and internal policies and procedures • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job; reasonable accommodations available when requested
