📋 Description

• Manage the daily operations of the Purchasing department • Ensure team member collaboration, innovation, policy and procedure adherence, technical and departmental issue resolution, successful order completion, and match exception resolution • Recommend and execute procurement activities while ensuring proper and ethical procurement of supplies and services • Administer Supply Chain Purchasing transactions for supplies, services, equipment, and office products • Collaborate with stakeholders on Supply Chain strategic integration efforts and execute strategic plans • Participate in Supply Chain management, developing budgets, programs, policies, and plans • Partner with management to reduce expenses and maximize cost savings and value without compromising patient safety or quality of care • Optimize ERP software and supply chain automation tools to streamline processes • Maintain constructive supplier relationships • Use dashboard analytics to measure Purchasing effectiveness, efficiencies, and service levels • Implement continuous process improvement strategies, including Six Sigma and Lean • Manage team recruitment, training, and development • Enforce procurement separation practices in accordance with GAAP and ensure appropriate internal controls across enterprise-wide procurement cycle functions • Supervise direct reports and exercise applicable budget, hiring, termination, performance appraisal, and disciplinary authority • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field • Five (5) years of supply chain or related experience • Equivalent alternatives may be considered: nine years of directly related work experience; or an Associate degree and seven years of related work experience; or a Master’s degree and three years of related work experience • Strong leadership, facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and foster vendor partnerships • Proficiency in project management, strategic thinking, and using metrics for decision-making • Experience in multiple supply chain functional areas • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to solve complex problems • Comprehensive understanding of ERP Purchasing software capabilities • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Ability to work day shift • No required certifications, registrations, or licenses (NA)
