• Support steam turbine generation and mechanical-drive projects through technical bid development, procurement coordination, cost and schedule tracking, and document management • Report to the Head Engineer, Steam Turbine Group, with dotted-line reporting to assigned Project Managers • Support the sales-to-execution handoff and project kickoff • Establish budget and schedule tracking, deliverable registers, procurement plans, responsibilities, and contractual deadlines • Prepare and coordinate specifications, scopes of work, and bid packages across mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, and instrumentation and controls disciplines • Track bid dates, bidder questions, clarifications, addenda, and bid leveling • Compare price, scope, technical exceptions, delivery, and commercial requirements and document award recommendations • Track requisitions, purchase orders, supplier drawings, fabrication, inspections, shipments, and long-lead risks • Maintain approved budgets, commitments, actual costs, engineering hours, estimates, and forecasts • Update schedules, track dependencies and milestones, prepare look-ahead reports, and follow up on recovery actions • Maintain revision-controlled documents, transmittals, submittals, RFIs, approval workflows, and project document statuses in Procore • Maintain change, risk, issue, and action logs and assemble cost and schedule impacts • Prepare dashboards, meeting records, analyses, supplier invoice checks, customer billing documentation, and cash-flow forecasts • Coordinate punch-list status, supplier documentation, as-built records, manuals, test reports, warranties, turnover packages, final cost reconciliation, and lessons learned
• Experience in industrial project cost tracking, document control, procurement, or engineering project coordination • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and supplier proposals • Ability to develop coordinated technical bid packages with discipline engineers • Working knowledge of project budgets, purchase commitments, forecasts, schedules, and change tracking • Strong Excel and written communication skills • Ability to manage concurrent deadlines, identify scope gaps, and follow through with suppliers and project teams • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline preferred • Experience with steam turbines, rotating equipment, power generation, or multidisciplinary industrial construction projects preferred • Experience with Procore, ERP purchasing and accounting systems, technical bid leveling, and supplier expediting preferred • Knowledge of engineering and procurement workflows • Knowledge of multidisciplinary equipment and construction interfaces • Knowledge of bid evaluation, cost forecasting, scheduling, and document revision control • Microsoft Office proficiency with strong Excel proficiency • Procore, scheduling software, and ERP reporting tools • Ability to access designated work areas and wear required PPE, with reasonable accommodation as applicable
