📋 Description

• Identify and document prehistoric cultural resources relevant to projects • Conduct archaeological research • Analyze artifacts • Contribute to region-specific content for cultural resources field guides • Collaborate with team members to ensure prehistoric artifacts and site types are accurately represented and identifiable by FSA staff • Produce thorough, accurate, appropriately documented work products compliant with established criteria • Meet project milestones and delivery schedules • Support environmental services solutions for USDA FPAC clients across the CONUS region

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Anthropology with an emphasis in prehistoric archaeology • Meets the Secretary of the Interior qualifications for archaeology • Knowledge of prehistoric archaeology and artifact identification • Research and data analysis skills • Ability to write technical reports and documentation • Proficiency in field survey techniques and excavation methods • Expertise in interpreting prehistoric cultural resources • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio • Ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary • Must perform duties competently and professionally and meet milestones/delivery schedules
