📋 Description

• Lead a team of Behavioral Healthcare Managers, dedicating approximately 70% of time to team leadership • Provide training on evidence-based treatments for cancer patients • Review sessions for quality, provide feedback, and track KPIs • Audit session notes for compliant documentation • Identify BHCM challenges and solutions with clinical leadership • Participate in rotating business-hours on-call for patient safety concerns and risk assessments • Evaluate job performance and develop improvement plans • Deliver direct patient care through the Collaborative Care Model, approximately 40% of time • Conduct structured mental and behavioral health assessments of oncology patients • Develop treatment plans using Protocol’s evidence-based modular treatment approach • Implement treatment modules and assess patient progress • Maintain a patient registry and participate in weekly psychiatrist consultations • Communicate and collaborate with oncology teams regarding patient progress and recommendations • Maintain home-state licensure and obtain additional state licenses as requested • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Current independent licensure to provide mental health services in at least one U.S. state • 2+ years of experience treating patients with chronic or serious medical illness • 1+ years of experience leading a team • Consistent use of data to support decision-making • Strong communication skills and ability to work on diverse teams • Ability to balance business needs with clinical priorities • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with frequent change • Ability to support patients with different diagnoses, backgrounds, cultures, and acuity levels • Ability to deliver care in a virtual setting • Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and/or trauma • Ability and willingness to work virtual clinic hours in the Pacific Time Zone
