📋 Description

• Spend two to four weeks doing the operator’s job at the start of an engagement • Reach working fluency in unfamiliar domains such as insurance underwriting, healthcare revenue cycle, and asset flow • Redesign business functions from first principles with operators and Forward Deployed Executives • Ship production GenAI systems, including LLM applications, agentic workflows, retrieval and structured-extraction pipelines, and supporting services • Build evaluation harnesses, define success criteria, instrument systems, and use evaluations to drive design • Write production code across backend services, data pipelines, and AI layers • Deploy containerized, observable, and maintainable systems on AWS or other clouds as required • Feed field learnings back into Provectus blueprints • Work with Forward Deployed Executives against Business Unit KPIs • Drive customer adoption and handle change management • Collaborate with customer engineers, operators, and executives • Shape commitments and scope before delivery begins

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building software, with substantial production-code experience and current hands-on work • Willingness to spend two to four weeks doing the operator’s job before coding • Ability to learn unfamiliar business domains quickly • Shipped GenAI/LLM systems to production • Experience building or owning evaluation suites for non-deterministic systems • Strong engineering fundamentals and productivity in unfamiliar codebases or languages • Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript • Cloud-native delivery on AWS, including containers, Kubernetes/ECS, IaC, and CI/CD • Ability to engage credibly with senior business and technical stakeholders • Comfort with ambiguity and ownership • Solid AI/ML foundations and ability to reason about model failure modes • Strong hands-on production experience with Claude Code/Cowork • Fluent English, written and spoken
