📋 Description

• Own the full lifecycle and product roadmap for Lumenci’s AI-powered patent intelligence platform, iLumos.ai • Prioritize features based on client ROI, competitive gaps, and engineering feasibility • Define quarterly OKRs and report delivery progress using AI-generated metrics • Identify underserved market segments • Drive API-first and integration strategy • Write system prompts, tool definitions, and structured output specifications for LLM workflows • Design agentic, multi-step workflow architecture for patent analysis pipelines • Define evaluation rubrics for LLM-as-judge pipelines • Iterate prompts using Braintrust evaluation data, attorney feedback, and hallucination reports • Maintain a versioned prompt library with evaluation scores and rollback capability • Serve as final go/no-go quality gate for AI-generated outputs • Validate output accuracy against professional standards for Am Law firms and Fortune 500 IP teams • Curate attorney-reviewed gold evaluation datasets • Liaise with law firm and corporate IP clients to convert feedback into product improvements • Flag and escalate legal accuracy risks • Run async-first, output-oriented continuous delivery • Coordinate Full-Stack and Platform/Security engineering dependencies • Demo new capabilities, manage enterprise client expectations, and translate feedback into engineering constraints • Manage budget, vendor relationships, and toolchain discipline • Help build iLumos.ai’s core LLM product and prompt architecture, evaluation framework, async-first delivery model, and direct client relationships

🎯 Requirements

• 3–10 years combined experience across patent domain work and B2B SaaS product management • Preference for 5+ years in B2B SaaS product management • At least 2 years at a company competing in a domain with significant legal or regulatory accuracy requirements • USPTO registered patent agent with registration number, or JD with substantial patent prosecution or litigation experience • 3+ years hands-on experience with claim charts, invalidity contentions, FTO analyses, or office action responses • Familiarity with at least one patent analytics platform: Patlytics, Derwent Innovation, Orbit Intelligence, PatSnap, or Google Patents Advanced • Direct experience working with patent attorneys, Am Law firms, or in-house IP teams • Technical undergraduate degree preferred in engineering, chemistry, computer science, or biology • Track record shipping AI-powered features to enterprise legal or IP clients • LLM architecture fundamentals, including context windows, temperature, and sampling • Prompt engineering, including chain-of-thought, few-shot examples, structured JSON schemas, and hallucination-prevention constraints • Tool use/function calling for patent database queries, prior art retrieval, and citation lookup • Multi-step agent design using LangGraph or equivalent • LLM evaluation using golden datasets, LLM-as-judge patterns, legal accuracy metrics, and Braintrust or equivalent • Hallucination mitigation in legal contexts • Cost and latency tradeoff knowledge, including prompt caching, token economics, and batching • Daily tools: Anthropic Claude API, LangSmith, LangGraph or equivalent, GitHub, and JIRA • Ability to write precise LLM workflow specifications • Strong client-facing skills • Ability to make technical tradeoff decisions with engineering • Current authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
