📋 Description

• Source and manage pipelines of medical receivable, pre-settlement portfolio purchase, and attorney lending opportunities • Screen opportunities against investment criteria and return thresholds • Prepare marketing materials, indicative pricing, and preliminary analyses • Participate in prospect and client meetings, including periodic travel to counterparties • Conduct portfolio-level, corporate, principal, guarantor, legal, servicing, and operational due diligence • Build and maintain static pool, collection curve, duration, and cash flow models • Analyze historical reduction, write-off, and resolution timing data • Draft term sheets and proposals for purchases, forward flows, credit lines, and non-recourse advances • Prepare investment committee memoranda and return models • Support negotiation of purchase, credit, and servicing agreements • Facilitate asset boarding, funding mechanics, treasury coordination, closings, and post-closing activities • Monitor portfolio and attorney lending facility performance, collections, covenants, yields, MOIC, IRR, vintage trends, and concentrations • Identify risks and underperformance trends and develop remediation plans • Prepare portfolio review, borrowing base, capital partner, investor, and lender reporting materials • Build underwriting templates, return models, decision-support tools, analytics, scenario analysis, and forecasting frameworks • Leverage AI tools and help implement process improvements, automation, and AI opportunities • Develop relationships with providers, funders, law firms, brokers, and institutional capital partners • Coordinate with Sales, Legal, Servicing, Finance, business line heads, and capital partners

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years (Senior Associate) / 5–7 years (Vice President) of direct experience in structuring, underwriting, or executing financial transactions • Preferably experience in asset-based finance, specialty finance, structured credit, or receivables investing at an investment bank, private credit fund, asset manager, specialty finance company, or similar institution • Strong quantitative, financial modeling, and analytical skills • Experience building cash flow models and analyzing portfolio-level data, including static pools, collection curves, and concentrations • Working understanding of risk-adjusted return analysis, asset performance monitoring, and transaction structuring • Experience drafting investment memoranda and reviewing financing structures and associated legal agreements • Vice President candidates should have a demonstrated track record of independently leading transactions from sourcing through closing • Strong attention to detail, commercial judgment, and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Experience using AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude as an everyday part of the workflow for analysis, drafting, and research • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Salesforce, or similar tools a plus • Familiarity with litigation finance, medical receivables, pre-settlement funding, law firm lending, or adjacent esoteric asset classes preferred • Bachelor’s degree required
