📋 Description

• Ensure the Chargemaster is consistent with coding and billing regulations and accurately represents services provided • Act as liaison between the Hospital ministry and the PSJH System Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster Department • Research CDM maintenance requests for adherence to the PSJH System standard CDM • Respond to Hospital ministry inquiries regarding Chargemaster issues • Train Hospital ministry staff on CDM maintenance, coding updates, and charge capture improvement • Collaborate with CDM Leads, Senior Specialists, and CDM Specialists to research and resolve requests • Coordinate daily CDM maintenance workflow between the PSJH System and Ministries • Monitor ministry alignment with the PSJH System's standard CDM • Document policies and procedures regarding CDM maintenance and charge processes • Review clinical department charges for Chargemaster and coding compliance • Coordinate with Hospital ministry, IS, Clinical Informatics, and Integration personnel on technology projects affecting charge entry, charge dictionaries, and charge interfaces

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Sciences, Finance, Accounting or another related field, or equivalent education/experience • 3 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including CDM Maintenance software, inpatient and outpatient billing requirements (UB-04), and CMS Medicare reimbursement methodology • Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding principles • 3 years of experience with hospital charging practices • 2 years of experience working with EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably EPIC (EAP) • Compliance with all applicable state driving laws and requirements; proof of driver's license and auto insurance upon request
