📋 Description

• Ensure Chargemaster (CDM) compliance with coding and billing regulations • Act as the liaison between Hospital ministry and RICDM team • Respond to Hospital ministry inquiries regarding Chargemaster issues • Train Hospital ministry staff on CDM Maintenance process and charge capture improvement • Collaborate with CDM Leads, Sr. Specialists and CDM Specialists • Use available CDM tools and resources for compliance assurance • Coordinate daily CDM maintenance workflow between PSJH System and Ministries • Monitor alignment of individual ministries to PSJH standard CDM • Document policies and procedures regarding CDM Maintenance and charge process • Review clinical department charges for coding compliance • Coordinate with Hospital ministry, IS, Clinical Informatics and Integration personnel on tech projects affecting charge entry

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Sciences, Finance, Accounting or other related field of study, or equivalent education/experience. • Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. • 3 years hospital chargemaster experience, including the use of CDM Maintenance software and experience with inpatient and outpatient billing requirements (UB-04) and CMS Medicare reimbursement methodology. Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS and ICD10 coding principles. • 3 years experience with Hospital charging practices. • 2 years experience working with EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably EPIC (EAP).
