• Support Providence clinicians and caregivers in their utilization of Epic • Provide remote clinical informatics support 24/7 • Promote understanding, integration, and effective use of information technology in healthcare settings • Serve as a liaison between clinical practice and Information Services • Support clinical and interprofessional caregivers throughout the care continuum • Support implementation, learning, use, adoption, and optimization of clinical technologies • Act as a professional role model in clinical informatics
• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or related field, or equivalent education/experience • 2 years in a position with the same or similar primary duties working with a clinical information system within a healthcare setting • Experience with EHR systems • Experience with the benefits and challenges of adult learning • Candidate must live in a footprint state: Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon, California, or Texas • Candidate must be no further than 2 hours from a Providence location • Availability to work Wednesday–Saturday, 11:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m. PDT • Informatics certifications or credentialing preferred
