📋 Description

• Contribute to the evolution of Providence's enterprise data platform strategy, architecture, governance framework, and modernization initiatives • Define data standards • Drive Snowflake platform maturity • Establish governance and metadata practices • Complete migration of legacy data assets into a scalable, governed, and reliable enterprise data ecosystem • Strengthen architectural foundations, engineering standards, and the operating model supporting enterprise analytics, reporting, AI, and data products • Design enterprise data models and platform standards • Define ownership, lineage, metadata, and data quality standards • Lead database migrations, consolidation efforts, and data modernization programs • Design and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-effective Snowflake solutions • Design ingestion patterns for APIs, SaaS platforms, CDC, batch, and event-driven sources • Establish CI/CD, deployment standards, repository governance, and engineering best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Management, Information Services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • 5 years of related experience; software development preferred • Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in C#, Java, Python or equivalent • Experience with source code control systems such as Git • SQL integration development experience with SQL/NoSQL • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, and Jira • Experience working independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team • Experience designing and successfully implementing a large project • Experience in a healthcare setting • Preferred: enterprise data architecture • Preferred: data governance and metadata management • Preferred: legacy migration and data refactoring • Preferred: Snowflake platform expertise • Preferred: data integration and ingestion architecture • Preferred: DataOps standards and technical leadership
