📋 Description

• Analyze patient records for completeness and accuracy of documentation according to DNV, CMS, and SMC guidelines • Suspend and reinstate physicians from the SMC medical staff according to the Relinquishment of Privileges section of the SMC Medical Staff Rules and Regulations • Create and/or publish the suspension list • Remove providers from the suspension list • Work on the operative report analysis and suspension process

🎯 Requirements

• Graduation from a Health Information Technology program • RHIA or RHIT certification preferred upon hire • 2 years of experience with record analysis in Health Information Management in an acute care hospital setting or a multiple doctor clinic preferred • Knowledge of DNV, CMS, and SMC guidelines • Ability to analyze patient records for completeness and documentation accuracy • Ability to perform physician suspension and reinstatement processes according to SMC Medical Staff Rules and Regulations
