• Own the full strategic planning cycle for assigned chapters — preparing session materials, facilitating planning discussions with volunteer boards, and delivering the final documented strategic plan. • Facilitate planning sessions and present to senior-level construction financial professionals serving in volunteer leadership roles, navigating varied leadership dynamics and personalities to build alignment around shared goals. • Conduct regular check-ins with chapter leaders to monitor progress against the plan, address challenges, and refine priorities as needed. • Partner with the Chapter Engagement Program Manager to review chapter health metrics, identify support needs, and align strategy accordingly. • Serve as a trusted partner to chapter leaders and the Chapter Resource Committee, providing guidance, responsive communication, and shared vision. • Represent CFMA in a high-visibility capacity through presentations, meetings, trainings, and events. • Collaborate with the Director, Chapter Engagement and national staff to advance shared departmental and organizational goals.
• Strong facilitation and public speaking skills, including proven comfort presenting to and facilitating discussions with senior-level executives. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in association chapter management and leadership. • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement. • Proven ability to work effectively with volunteer leaders and navigate complex interpersonal and organizational dynamics. • Ability to translate data, feedback, and observations into measurable, attainable action plans. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and responsiveness. • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% within the assigned region.
