• Provide technical and sales support to customers • Travel to customer facilities and manufacturing sites throughout the U.S. and around the world • Support equipment installations, startup, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections • Provide onsite technical support for equipment operation, maintenance, commissioning, and repair • Inspect and test machinery and equipment to verify proper operation and performance • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, operating manuals, and technical documentation • Diagnose equipment issues and develop practical solutions • Perform instrument loop checks and system safety checks • Troubleshoot and tune equipment controls and system integration • Apply PLC knowledge to support troubleshooting, programming, design, and maintenance • Provide technical training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance • Investigate equipment failures and customer complaints and determine corrective actions • Prepare detailed technical reports documenting findings, recommendations, and resolutions • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales to resolve technical issues and improve customer satisfaction
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical experience with manufacturing equipment • Strong ability to troubleshoot machinery using technical principles, drawings, manuals, and established procedures • Working knowledge of PLC controls and programming • Ability to understand and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field • Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and CADD applications preferred • Valid driver's license • Valid U.S. Passport, or ability to obtain one • Ability to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally • Ability to work extended hours based on customer and project needs • Candidate should be within close proximity of a major airport
