📋 Description

• Perform calibration services on ENA and ESPEC Corp manufactured equipment while adhering to ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Management System requirements • Conduct on-site customer training on equipment operation, startup, and maintenance • Repair and adjust refrigeration, electrical, and control systems • Configure and calibrate controllers and recorders • Evacuate and charge/recharge refrigeration systems and complete refrigerant usage tickets • Read and interpret refrigeration and electrical prints, drawings, schematics, and blueprints • Coordinate and supervise contractors during large installations • Record and approve contractor hours • Complete expense reports • Submit detailed service reports after each job • Implement engineering-approved system changes • Return field parts • Prepare for assignments by researching job requirements and reviewing unfamiliar equipment manuals • Assist production as needed • Clean and maintain work areas, service van, machines, tools, and equipment • Arrive at designated job sites at the scheduled date and time • Work with minimal direct supervision • Perform regional, extended domestic, and international travel • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required • Minimum 2 years of college or trade school is required • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the refrigeration industry preferred • Previous experience brazing/soldering/welding ferrous and non-ferrous materials required • Refrigerant charging and recovery experience required • Strong mechanical aptitude required • Basic computer and phone skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email), required • Electrical knowledge in high, low, and control voltage desired • Previous customer service experience desired • Commercial electrical knowledge, including low voltage DC, low voltage AC, high voltage 3-phase power, and electrical schematic reading and troubleshooting preferred • Commercial refrigeration knowledge, including basic refrigeration knowledge and proper recovery, evacuation, and charging techniques preferred • Ability to read and comprehend multi-step instructions, correspondence, and memos in English • Ability to read and comprehend refrigeration and electrical schematics • Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear regularly • Regular use of ladders at elevated heights and harness use as required • Ability to climb or balance frequently • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Close vision and color vision required • Ability to perform lockout/tagout on energized jobs and understand lockout/tagout procedures • Regular physical attendance required • Regional, extended domestic, and international travel required • Ability to operate efficiently with minimal direct supervision
