📋 Description

• Troubleshoot malfunctioning lab instruments or test equipment • Test mechanical mechanisms and electronic circuitry for root-cause failures • Perform hands-on repairs for malfunctioning lab instruments or test equipment • Test assemblies for conformance according to manufacturer specifications • Travel domestically and internationally to provide repair support to direct market customers • Provide customers with phone and email recommendations to resolve lab instrument issues • Follow up on ongoing customer issues • Send replacement parts when needed • Refer information to the main home office for further guidance • Perform on-site resolutions

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Field Repair Technician in the Phoenix, AZ area • Recognized Electrical or Mechanical Qualification with apprenticeship and 5 years work experience • Work experience with technical equipment, preferably in a laboratory setting • Competent to read and interpret documents, instructions and manuals • Diplomacy and tact in reporting NCE (non-conforming events) to management – with urgency • Highly proficient computer skills and typing • Windows environment and Microsoft applications proficiency • Relevant CRM systems proficiency • Domestic and International travel experience and ability • Clean driving record • Must reside in reasonable driving distance of a major airport • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally 50% of the time annually
