📋 Description

• Build and ship features across Champion platform repositories • Improve developer experience through tooling, scaffolding, internal documentation, and onboarding paths • Maintain and evolve the MCP tool server and agent infrastructure • Identify and address friction slowing Champion development or deployment • Support business-unit Applied AI engineers in building, deploying, and operating Champions • Review agent implementations for prompt quality, scope enforcement, auth configuration, and deployment setup • Contribute to internal engineering guides and skill documentation • Pair with business-unit engineers on Kubernetes manifests, database registration, and LaunchDarkly prompt rollout • Design and build Champion agents for business-unit use cases • Write and iterate on system prompts, tool bindings, and context injection • Register agents in Champion Server and configure LaunchDarkly-gated prompt rollout • Follow trunk-based development with PR-gated merges • Write tests before implementation and keep pull requests small and focused • Use feature flags for incremental releases and maintain API/schema backward compatibility

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient in async Python, Pydantic, type hints, and FastAPI • Experience with the Strands agent SDK or a comparable agentic framework • Comfortable with pytest, pytest-asyncio, and DeepEval • Able to write and iterate on production system prompts • Solid understanding of MCP and hands-on experience building or consuming MCP servers • Familiarity with multi-agent architectures and orchestration patterns • Able to design and run evaluation suites for agent behavior • Comfortable authoring Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, and docker-compose / make environments • Comfortable with templated PostgreSQL INSERT/SELECT, foreign key relationships, and ER diagrams • Follows conventional commit format and PR-based trunk workflow • Working knowledge of Kubernetes Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, and ServiceAccounts is nice to have • Working knowledge of AWS ECR, EKS, IAM, and Bedrock is nice to have • Conceptual understanding of OAuth2/OIDC is nice to have • Beginner-level Terraform familiarity is nice to have • LaunchDarkly experience is nice to have • AWS Textract or comparable OCR/document-intelligence experience is nice to have • Comfortable using Claude Code and Cursor • Work authorization in Mexico required; visa sponsorship is not offered
