📋 Description

• Support QIAGEN’s QIAstat-Dx instrument and chemistries in the field • Install instruments • Train customers • Monitor evaluations • Conduct routine customer follow-up • Troubleshoot products on site • Demonstrate products • Provide pre- and post-sale technical support in the assigned Texas territory • Travel extensively throughout the territory

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or equivalent • 2-5 years of clinical lab experience, and/or 2-5 years within a field-based customer support function • Deep knowledge of wet lab molecular biology methods/techniques in a clinical lab setting • Some familiarity with NGS applications would be helpful • Experience with CRM software, particularly Salesforce.com, highly desirable • Customer-facing personality, including the ability to build positive relationships and engage in scientific discussions with customers • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and solve customers’ technical problems by phone, email, webinar, and in-person • Ability to integrate both internal and field-based resources to find creative solutions to customer requests • Organized and able to work independently as well as on a team • Some project management experience highly desirable • Ability to travel 70% with anticipated overnights of 40% • Must be based near a major airport • Territory: Texas
