📋 Description

• Assist with origination, evaluation, and execution of mergers and acquisitions for Qualus • Support short- and long-term organic and inorganic growth strategy development • Collaborate with the C-Suite, corporate stakeholders, direct teams, and cross-functional teams on M&A and other inorganic activities • Produce and present investment recommendations to senior executives and the board • Execute and assist with due diligence and deal execution, including negotiations • Manage cross-functional teams and outside advisors • Drive a transformational M&A agenda across multiple business lines • Participate in mission-critical strategy initiatives with the C-Suite • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis • Deliver data-driven insights supporting strategic decision-making and business performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business • 3–5 years of M&A experience in investment banking/private equity, corporate M&A, or transaction advisory services • Experience in engineering, infrastructure, utility, or broader industrial sectors preferred, but not required • Analytical, methodical, and rigorous approach • Ability to independently analyze complex business issues, perform research and analyses, and synthesize conclusions into business strategy • Ability to structure problems, form hypotheses, run test analyses, and explain complex concepts concisely • Effective verbal and written communication with executive-level and cross-functional teams • Strong empathy and communication skills; appetite for feedback • Ability to work independently and manage or lead team members across business units • Ability to prioritize numerous initiatives and adapt quickly to changing demands and time constraints • Preferred banking background or Corporate M&A
