📋 Description

• Master protocols, applications, and troubleshooting for all QSI products • Understand proteomic applications and align QSI products and applications with market needs • Communicate technical details of QSI products and applications in pre-sales meetings • Lead technical discussions with customers • Conduct seminars and present technical datasets • Identify customer needs and provide solutions using QSI instruments, reagents, kits, and applications • Draft experimental plans and set expectations during product evaluations • Draft and present demo reports • Manage onsite and remote onboarding of QSI products and software • Conduct onsite training on QSI instruments, software, and reagent workflows • Drive instrument utilization through collaboration with sales and customer project plans • Manage technical support cases via SFDC, email, phone, and site visits • Determine when instrument repairs are needed and initiate repair processes • Troubleshoot instrument, software, kit, and application problems and escalate as needed • Participate in tradeshows and drive customer advocacy • Provide input on application notes and technical collateral • Promote product positioning and messaging in customer interactions • Champion customer-requested applications to Market Development and Product Management • Report to the Senior Director, Field Applications and Services • Collaborate with sales, product management, market development, and marketing

🎯 Requirements

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biology, or related field • Masters/PhD preferred but not required if have 5+ years lab experience • Prior employment in similar technical support role required OR combination of lab experience with technical support component • Experience in proteomics, protein biology, or mass spectrometry • Theoretical or technical background in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, NGS • Excellent written/oral communication skills • Takes initiative • Ability to travel up to 75% (3 weeks per month)
