📋 Description

• Set the go-to-market plan for the Media, Entertainment, Gaming, and Sports vertical • Own and grow the global MEGS business number, including forecasting, coverage model, and headcount plan • Manage the MEGS vertical down to the P&L • Hire, retain, and coach a small team of senior account executives • Build and grow executive relationships at studios, broadcasters, leagues, and teams • Sell as a player-coach on new-logo pursuits • Drive complex hardware/software, cloud, and hybrid-cloud sales involving OEMs, resellers, and cloud partners • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to align customer needs with the roadmap • Run targeted account-based marketing • Represent Qumulo in the MEGS vertical and at NAB, SVG, SMPTE, and other industry events

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years experience selling complex technology into sports, media, broadcast, entertainment, or production organizations • Direct experience managing high-performance sales teams with a hands-on, player/coach model • Track record of beating quotas • Track record of landing major new logos through generated demand, not just partner-led or inbound pipelines • Fluency in broadcast and production environments, from ingest to playback, ideally focused on media workflows • Existing relationships with global media, entertainment, sports leagues or teams, or broadcast organizations • Ability to travel across North America and globally for customer meetings and industry events • Bonus points for being active in NAB, SVG, or SMPTE • Bonus points for having sold file or unstructured data storage solutions
