📋 Description

• Develop and enhance pricing analytics utilizing SAS, Python, Excel and Tableau related to projected portfolio returns, risk concentration and CRT performance. • Present findings to Senior Leadership Team on a regular basis to influence pricing decisions. • Develop bespoke MI rate card pricing utilizing competitive intelligence, return thresholds, and desired portfolio composition to most efficiently deploy Radian's capital. • Perform ad hoc analysis related to mortgage insurance pricing, CRT portfolio analysis and competitive analysis. • Competitive Position Analytics: Perform analysis to adjust pricing as needed in order to maintain desired market share. • Collecting and maintaining MI pricing intelligence thru the development of databases. • Assist in the research and implementation of market data and variables to enhance pricing and financial forecasts. • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience • Work Experience: 4 or more years of prior work related experience • Analytical experience within the mortgage banking, Reinsurance, or financial services industry strongly preferred. • Advanced knowledge of Python, SAS, or SQL, Snowflake, and AWS or a similar programming language • Prior experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI • Strong understanding of pricing/valuation/ROC concepts and methods • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks under deadlines • Ability to perform analysis and provide conclusions and recommendations • Experience manipulating large data sets • Attention to detail as demonstrated by effective time-management, good organizational skills and use of analytical thinking to solve problems. • Strong aptitude for analytics; demonstrated ability to draw value-added insights from large amounts of financial data • Excellent oral and written communication skills and show a demonstrated ability to absorb information quickly. • Strong critical thinking • Training / experience with Microsoft Office products; very high-level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel • Ability to be a self-motivator and work independently, as well as work effectively with others. • Intellectually curious- is willing to question traditional ways of doing things and develop new approaches to old challenges • High level of interest in learning and utilizing advanced analytical and statistical methods • Demonstrated track record of success and increasing knowledge base
