📋 Description

• Own design solutions for key features and product initiatives from user research and wireframing through pixel-perfect shipped UI • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data partners to turn requirements into intuitive user experiences • Use and contribute to Rain Kit, the design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and high visual craft • Create responsive prototypes, including AI-assisted workflows where useful, to communicate user flows and interaction details • Use data, user feedback, and usability testing to refine and optimize product experiences • Maintain a high standard for visual craft, details, and micro-interactions • Own core product features and end-to-end user flows impacting hourly, shift-based workers who use Rain to manage their financial lives

🎯 Requirements

• Shipped complex web and mobile product features end-to-end • Portfolio demonstrating specific design decisions and rationale • Strong visual design and mobile-first thinking • High level of polish and attention to detail • Clear communication of design decisions to PMs and engineers • Ability to balance craft with shipping speed • Comfortable working through ambiguity toward concrete product decisions • 4+ years of product design experience, preferably in Fintech, TradFi, or mobile consumer tech • Experience using and extending design systems in Figma • Familiarity with modern prototyping workflows, including AI-assisted tools • Strong portfolio showcasing native mobile (iOS/Android) design work • Experience working effectively in remote or distributed teams • Legal authorization to work in the United States • Hands-on experience designing a mobile application from concept to production • Experience in a fintech or financial services environment • Highly proficient in Figma as a primary design tool • Experience contributing to or expanding a design system at scale • Experience designing across mobile, web, and internal tools • Experience owning end-to-end UI/UX for a product or product area • Experience collaborating directly with engineers and product managers to ship features • Experience managing or directing motion design work • Experience using AI tools to accelerate daily work
