📋 Description

• Design and implement high-quality, scalable technical solutions for client and internal projects • Translate business and/or functional requirements into sound engineering designs • Own the delivery of well-defined technical components or workstreams with minimal supervision • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across systems and environments • Evaluate technical options and recommend effective solutions balancing performance, cost, and maintainability • Collaborate directly with clients to clarify requirements and validate assumptions • Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences • Contribute to client-facing deliverables, including design documents, demos, and presentations • Work collaboratively with architects, project managers, and consulting team members to deliver integrated solutions • Follow and help enforce engineering best practices, code quality standards, and security guidelines • Ensure deliverables meet client expectations and internal quality benchmarks

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of engineering experience, ideally in a consulting, data, or software delivery environment • 2+ years of experience designing and implementing production-grade solutions in a modern technology stack (Python, SQL, dbt, React, Vue, AWS/Azure/GCP) • Strong proficiency in at least one core engineering domain (software/application, data, or cloud engineering) • Solid understanding of software engineering principles – version control, testing, CI/CD, and documentation • Demonstrated ability to translate requirements into clear technical specifications or architecture diagrams • Hands-on experience with system integration, APIs, or data pipelines • Proven ability to deliver technical workstreams independently • Excellent communication skills • Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset within cross-functional and client-facing environments • Commitment to producing high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions • Experience working in agile or iterative project environments • Advanced degree (PhD, MBA, or MS) in a Life Science related field (nice-to-have) • Familiarity with emerging technologies in R&D, including AI/ML in drug discovery, real-world evidence (RWE), and digital clinical trials (nice-to-have) • Experience with data platform design (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift/Athena, BigQuery, etc) (nice-to-have) • Experience or familiarity with cloud architecture patterns and infrastructure-as-code (nice-to-have) • Experience with DevOps practices, containerization, or automation frameworks (nice-to-have) • Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and analytics engineering principles (nice-to-have) • Experience contributing to or leading code/design reviews (nice-to-have) • Experience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to internal best practices and accelerators (nice-to-have) • Demonstrated interest in continuous learning and emerging technologies (nice-to-have)
